This week was all about music… time to organize my iTunes and its almost 20k albums (CD, Vinyl and digital acquired), or 130k different songs… : labeling, organizing, seeking for appropriate covers etc… I’ve been working on this for about one year now, it’s a very intense and time-consuming project digitalizing music. O yes, besides photography & denim, it’s all about listening to music and making it sound truthful, I believe ‘audiophile’ is the word.
While my mac was doing it’s thing from time to time, read overheating, I took the time to explore the world outside, to observe people and their clothing habit(s) to be more specific : Oouuchh, ‘it’s going to be a world of crêpe de Chine’. Luckily I also spotted people who want that workmanship, the workmanship that all of us participants adore and admire. At the moment, after what I’ve seen, I have to conclude that there are fewer of them than there were… But, I remain positive, eventually… you’ll see! Let’s educate our kids for starters, like my 3,5 yrs old son :

His lovely 11 months old pure blue japan jean, selfedge of course. It has encountered various situations, and therefore washed several times… but holding up very strong. I like the color, the vintage-like fading. As for tear, only a tiny hole in the right knee area! Talking about holding up! 14oz baby! Next school year we’ll treat him with a Momotaro GTB for kids.
So, my sons jean evolves very well, and in such a nice way… I’m jealous, and still have a long way to go with my 0901′s. Eventually, I’ll be getting there :

Yup, grayish… full of dust they are, again…

I must note that the belt is a bitch to break in, so far the best I’ve ever owned, I can really recommend it (if you fancy this)!

Not so much progress since previous post, a desk job has been the cause of that
Upcoming week we’re on a treasure hunt in Burgundy (visiting my parents) & South of France… it should be interesting for me, as well as for our project jeans. Next post will be after Easter.

Nice one Rob. Looking good with the kids’ jeans as well. My baby boy is not wearing any jeans yet. Actually he seldom wears any pants other than shorts as it’s that hot here.
But once he starts crawling around I will defo equip him with a pair of good jeans.
Thx. Those kids jeans are so expensive (compared to ours), but it is worth the investment I say : they’re decent jeans. I saw the kids Momotaro, love it, so that will be his next project
. Once your son is big enough, he can wear my sons’ PBJ… I’ll pass it to you when the time is right
Yeah, the jeans cost pretty much the same as the adult jeans. But I guess it’s all in the details. The kids’ jeans are cool though. But at the pace my son is growing, I won’t be buying him 200 euro jeans anytime soon, just for the fact that he would outgrow the pants in no time.
Haha, oh and thanks for the offer too.
yepp, your son PBJ looks awesome Rob, like father like son…..
and Mr Freedamn already got some serious business there, the whikies and button fades are the winners so far…. i also like the fact that he has grayish hue with some electric blue, that’s hot
Thx Ika
