Stepping up from week eleven: welcome, attic. The windows are too small for proper lighting and I didn’t have an industrial lamp, but hey, hitting the three month mark still looks good.
Now, an open topic. Why do you think the honeycombs aren’t more pronounced?

Man, the jeans look good. It’s the thing with straight cut jeans in general, the “honeycombs” are not evolving as fast as with the slimmer designs, but I was checking the three month mark of my own jeans and I have a feeling the jeans are evolving at a similar pace. I think there was more creasing on the back the knees with my Copper Label but the Straight Cut Copper Label jeans fit me like Slim Cut jeans man… Still a good look. Below a link to my jeans at around same stage.

I’m inclined to agree with you man. The slightly wider cut of the straights compared to the skinnies also ads slightly more material. Then, when you sit down, the honeycombs do not start forming as pronouncedly.
Oh yeah, the belt is included for Rob’s benefit.
Thx. I love simple belts… Got myself a Mr Freedom one…
Yawnz are dope!
Yeah man, I was comparing my previous project to my current one and although they are progressing at a similar pace, I would almost go as far as to argue that my Copper Label was evolving faster? Don’t know, maybe time glorifies the memories or something…
Could be. Different indigo dye?
for me it is the other way around. Kiks ages faster than the good old Copper!
Yeah, this is interesting indeed. It could also have to do with the environment. When I started wearing the Copper Label it was winter so I was knee deep in the snow every day. Now although it’s hotter here and the jeans soften up faster, get those fine lines perhaps faster, I still feel my Copper Label jeans had evolved further in the same time. But really great comparison. Can’t wait to see Martijn’s update on the project as well.
No, same. The only difference being that the Copper Label is One-Wash where as these jeans were Raw in the beginning.
