KIKS/Update

Hi All,
been pretty busy but also lazy lately. However, not lazy enough to give the my Kiks&Momotaro a proper machine wash.
In the last weeks, the pants were super good company when traveling to Amsterdam, the Dutch cost, to customers in NL. Actually a lot of traveling the Netherlands but I just love it there. On my trip to Amsterdam(need to post food pics??) many people were asking about the jeans which was very much unexpected to me. But it has led to very cool chats. A special shout out to the guys at the Carhartt store in Amsterdam. They were super duper nice!

Ok, back to the pants. I have to admit that the fading is much faster than with my Copper project. Especially the fading around the crotch and pockets is starting heavily. The white battle lines on the right back pocket show nice sings of usage too. Pretty satisfied with that result. One drawback, I again had a hole in my right pocket coming from my mobile phone. The whole was on the upper part of the inner pocket. One edge (hahah, my mobile has “round” edges) is causing the damage. The damage can also be seen from the front in the denim(need to take better pictures of that). Luckily I was kinda supported by my Mom who showed me a really cool and easy but effective technique to sew the hole by hand. Thx Mom!
I am still happy every morning when jumping in my KIKS&Momotaro. Anyone else with that feeling?
So far so good, here are the pics:

  1. Lookin’ good tim. You’ve a dangerous phone… I dunno how you guys do that, but I never ripped an inner pocket… I plan to pick up cycling again, and am already curious to see how this will affect my yawnz… What you do for a living? (you mentioned visiting customers in holland) Cheers.

Thx Rob, yeah the pocket issue, strange! I hate it but I still love my jeans. I am about to buy a new bike soon too, funny. This will have different effects on the jeans, cant wait for that to happen.

    Wow Tim, rapid progress! Damn…
I have a feeling my jeans are way behind now. :D
Really impressive. Interesting to also hear that you feel these jeans evolve faster than the Copper Label did, for me it feels like it’s the other way round. Very nice man, keep them pictures coming. Cheers!
