Life remains hectic but ah so rewarding. Last week or so I have actually been so tied up with work that I have been at home only to sleep. Fortunately moang all that work there has been some time for leisure as well. A week ago we took a trip to Club Med Cherating. Beaches, isolation from the urban every day life and plenty of activities to keep on occupied. I made use of the time there by mostly playing basketball, hitting the gym and swimming. Considering the fact that with my current schedule/lifestyle I have seldom time to do either one of these activities.

The seaside view and calm wind was definitely nothing to frown about.

The hotel itself was interesting at least from the design/architecture point of view. The entire hotel made out of wood established on stilts. The design follows classic Malaysian architecture with old “kampong” houses being established in this fashion. You know to keep off the creepy crawlies and all. I also heard that this hotel might be the longest wooden building in the world. Can’t vouch for that though.

Great trip good times, thanks to everyone there.
Back to business. Social events, charity dinners and all that. Lucky I have my son to accompany me to majority of these events. He acts as my bodyguard. You would not want to mess with this kid, believe dat.

If the picture was not enough to convince you, head to our blog to check out a video of “Monster Maxwell”. That will surely drive the point across.
So what about the jeans. I told weeks ago that I had planned to wash them. Well it has been almost two months since the last wash and the jeans only went to the machine yesterday. In reality the pants could/should have been washed already earlier as they started to feel a bit “sticky” on the surface. The hairy texture has pretty much been ironed out and the front is fading fast. Below detailed pics of the jeans across different parts to show what I mean.

The belt is holding up nicely with the Wear and Tear project, being worn as much if not more than the jeans the belt has pretty much softened a bit and the middle belt hole having stretched a bit, but at this point my previous belt was already closing in on its life cycle. So good look Gucci.

The jeans are looking pretty good following the latest wash and I can’t wait to start wearing them jeans after a day’s break. Well that break gave me a good excuse to wear my trusted Copper Label Momotaro Jeans for at least one day. The current project is still far from those jeans but all in good time.
So that’s all for now. Happy Mother’s Day all the mothers in the world and a special shout out to Jeci Chao from Maxwell and I.

Lovely post… you should apply for working in a traveling agency
Next time some Taavi NBA action shots?
Cheers Rob!
Haha, sure as soon as I get on the court with someone with a camera. This time around the only ones joining me for a pick up game were the resident monkeys who ran across the court few times. No, the monkeys did not really play basketball but at least appeared on the court. Haha, the rest of my travel mates rather enjoyed the swimming pool and free flow of drinks. Who can blame them.
But yeah, add one more job to my current life and I think I’m ready for early retirement in about 6 months, hahaha.
All good though…
Beach…….Basketball…….exotic view……Cute Bodyguard, what else do you really need? seriously? that would be my dream place right now!
Haha… living the life!
Can’t argue with the above comment. It’s all good Mario.
