So the Northern Denim Co. Lot 3010 jeans are winter proof too. We’re back in Finland safe and sound, and the jeans keep the cold out like any of my vintage jeans before these. Some could of course argue that this ain’t no real winter. I mean take a look at the picture below.

Where’s the snow?
“At grandma’s house!” says Maxwell. Indeed we have some snow on the yard, which is nice as our boy gets a chance to play in the snow and eat some of the snow while at it.

Mummy and daddy got a good chance to play in the snow as well.

So how was the 16 hour trip with a 1 year old? Good. Maxwell slept most of the trip. I guess we were lucky enough to have a red-eye flight departing from Malaysia at 23.45. So we arrived in Finland in the morning, which sort of tricked us into the local time and rhythm straight-away.

Awesome flights, on time, the food wasn’t that bad and we got to spend one hour in Amsterdam airport. So friends in the ‘Dam, we were there on Wednesday morning at 5.30am.

However I do have to admit Maxwell has been a bit shook by the trip, time difference, cold, darkness, food and the different environment altogether. I have never seen him cry as he did last night. But today he was back to himself. I guess the jet lag hits the kids with a delay.
But we’re fighting jet lag off with some quality time featuring my brother’s Playstation 3…

…and a wooden horse.

But it’s of course not all fun and games. It’s also about denim. Took some fit pics that should nicely show where are we at with the Lot 3010 Northern Denim Co. project closing up on the 2 month mark.
Sebago Hammond boots I introduced almost a year ago but never wore until now. The boots are awesome fit to the early winter weather. I think if it was -20 degree old fashioned winter I might opt back to my Timberland boots, but until then these will do.
We took the shots at my auntie’s photo studio. She also happens to have a pretty impressive collection of vintage cameras. I know there are some photography enthusiasts here so thought of sharing few pics. Really awesome stuff.

People actually donate the cameras in for free. I heard it has been a “tradition” for a while already, the cameras are finally in display. Good look.

Maxwell got his picture taken as well. Note the Christmas pants.

Speaking of vintage items, I got my hands on an interesting time piece now replacing my Tokyoflash PIMP watch that served me well until this year. I will write a separate post on the NDH Blog on the watch but a sneak preview here. This one’s an old Omega watch from 1975 that belonged to my grandpa.

So more of the watch later. I have another vintage Swiss watch to talk about but perhaps I will write up few vintage watch editions on the Blog.
So back home, feeling rather relaxed enjoying good food, glögi and Christmas spirit(s).

It’s almost Christmas. Got all I wanted already so not expecting much from Santa but I have to say I’m glad see it’s snowing right now. So I guess all I want is a white Christmas. Let’s see what next week brings along…

Nice update! Love the cams, but even adore the watch more!
Merry x-mas to you, your family and the NDH crew!
